I come from an island where the weather, the wind and the cod find their way into almost every conversation. Cod has fed our communities for a thousand years and carried us through every hardship.

Years later I spent my own time on that water, sailing the North Atlantic, but my joints began to complain with every wave.

My first career was interior design, where I learned that the finest things are often the plainest. I've built AEYLíN the same way, with one fish, one ingredient and a molecular weight that I'm proud to show you.

I've spent nearly a decade working with collagen, first as Wellness Lab, and in 2026 it became AEYLíN.

Why AEYLíN emerged

There is one ingredient in AEYLíN, collagen from the skin of wild cod. It is milled to 2,000 Daltons, we publish that number because it's an important figure. Much of the collagen we see today arrives with fillers, sweeteners or blended fish species. Very few brands talk about their dalton sizes or fish varieties.

AEYLíN is here to raise the bar. It's flavourless and odourless, so it never competes with your coffee. Just add two teaspoons a day to coffee, tea or the blender. 

What is in AEYLíN, and why molecular size matters

A single potent ingredient

AEYLíN has one potent ingredient: Hydrolysed collagen peptides from wild cod skin (Gadus morhua). No fillers, no flavourings and no added ingredients. Many collagen products are mixture of various fish species. Ours is 100% cod, so you always know exactly what you're getting.

What 2,000 Daltons means

A Dalton is the unit scientists use to measure the size of a molecule. Collagen in its natural form is a very large protein, around 300,000 Daltons. To turn it into a powder, it is broken down into short chains called peptides through a process called hydrolysis. Most marine collagen on the market sits between 4,000 and 6,000 Daltons. AEYLíN is milled to 2,000.

Why it matters

Smaller peptides blend easily into hot drinks without clumping. Molecular size is what researchers look at when they study how collagen peptides are digested. The science is young and still developing, though what AEYLIN gives you is a better absorption rate delivered via smaller molecules. Many brands pay for their own clinical trials without sharing the data on which their results are measured. In other words, they show the most favourable results, not the complete study.
